Elon Musk hopes to make settlement on the moon
(CNN)– Elon Musk says he wants to help create a city on the moon.
He says on social media that he’s prioritizing that over his plan for a Mars settlement.
The SpaceX founder says a moon city is a faster and easier option.
He estimates it could happen in less than a decade while his Mars plan could take more than 20 years.
NASA has a similar lunar plan.
Musk says he’s also not giving up on an eventual Mars settlement.
