No injuries in overnight structure fire on Garden Path Lane in Irmo
IRMO, S.C. (WOLO) – Irmo firefighters say no injuries are reported in an overnight structure fire at the 100 block of Garden Path Lane.
Officials say they found heavy fire from several windows when they arrived and fire quickly spread to the attic and through the roof.
The building, which wasn’t occupied, suffered extensive damage.
Crews from West Columbia Fire Department, Lexington County Fire and Columbia Fire Department assisted in fighting the blaze.
Firefighters will be on scene throughout the morning dousing hot spots.
The cause remains under investigation.
