3 arrested after multi-agency drug investigation

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Deputies with the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office say they participated in a multi-agency drug investigation that led to three arrests.

Investigators say on Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, deputies with Chester County Sheriff’s Office  and Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office along with SLED agents executed search warrants at homes on Sterling and Starnes Streets in Chester County.

Deputies say they arrested Anthony Waters and James Strong after discovering ecstasy, crack cocaine, and marijuana.

Deputies also arrested a third suspect, Ruby Strong on an outstanding family court bench warrant.
