Former President Joe Biden to visit Columbia for SC Democratic Party reception

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Former President Joe Biden is coming to Columbia later this month for a special event.

The South Carolina Democratic Party announced it will host a reception in his honor on Friday, February 27 at 7 p.m.

Event officials say they will celebrate his 2020 South Carolina Primary win, which was a key step towards him securing the Democratic nomination while running for President.

The location of the event will be given when attendees RSVP.
