1 dead, 1 injured after Lee County collision

LEE COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– An accident last night in Lee County left one person dead and another injured, that’s according to SC Highway Patrol.

Troopers say at 7:49 p.m. last night (Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026), a driver in a 1995 Ford Escort was driving South on Highway 15.

And hit a 2008 Infinity head on as they tried to turn onto Tims Drive.

Troopers say the driver of the Escort died at the scene.

The driver of the Infinity was injured.

The accident remains under investigation by highway patrol.
