Audible launches read, listen feature
(CNN)– There’s a new way for book lovers to experience their favorite stories.
Wednesday, Feb. 18, audible announced the rollout of immersion reading in its app.
Customers who own both the audiobook and Kindle e-book versions of a title can now follow synchronized, highlighted text as the narration plays.
Audible says finding eligible titles is easy.
The app will automatically show you which e-books have audiobook matches.
Audible says combining reading and listening can improve focus and comprehension.
The company’s data shows users who do both consume nearly twice as much content each month.
