Bayer agrees to pay more than $7 billion in Roundup settlement

(CNN)– Bayer is settling tens of thousands of lawsuits over Roundup, according to the New York Times.

The plaintiffs allege the weed killer can cause non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

Under the plan, the German company agrees to shell out more than $7 billion.

The times says that’s to cover past and future claims.
