Bond denied for teen accused of shooting at deputies

 

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Bond was denied Thurs, Feb. 19, for a man accused of opening fire on Richland County deputies.

Deputies say on September 30, Renardo Tyson was speeding on North Main Street.

After a short chase, he ran off the side of Montecello Road.

When deputies pulled up the sheriff says Tyson began shooting at them with a stolen pistol.

No deputies were injured, however Tyson was shot.

Officials say his wounds are not life threatening.

Tyson is facing multiple charges including four counts of attempted murder.
