30-year-old arrested in connection with a scam regarding boutique items purchase

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A 30-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a scam regarding the purchase of boutique items, according to RCSD.

Deputies said, investigators received a report that a victim purchased several items from Schronce’s Thomas & Turner Boutique that totaled of over $200, and that were never provided to her.

The victim also stated she tried several times to reach out to Schronce to have the issue resolved and Pamela Schronce failed to return any communication or refunds.

Schronce was arrested and charged by several agencies around the state for this same scam, said RCSD.

She was arrested by Richland County Sheriff’s Department investigators on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026, when she turned herself in at Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.

Schronce will remain jailed due to a detention hold by another agency pending warrants for similar charges.
