Adult portable bed rails recalled

(CNN)– Thousands of portable adult bed rails have been recalled due to a potential risk of serious injury or even death.

Vive Health says the product violates the mandatory standard for adult portable bed rails.

According to the company, a person can become trapped within the bed rail or between the bed rail and the mattress even when the bed rails are attached to the bed.

The bed rails also do not have the required hazard warning labels.

No injuries have been reported in connection to the recall.
