Reproductive Health Advocacy Day at the SC State House
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– This afternoon lawmakers, healthcare providers, and others gathered at the State House for Reproductive Health Advocacy Day.
Planned Parenthood’s South Atlantic chapter organized the event.
Officials say state lawmakers have introduced more than 30 bills that would further restrict access to sexual and reproductive health care.
Those who spoke Tues, Feb. 24, 2026, say these are decisions that should be made between a woman and her doctor.
South Carolina Law currently bans abortion after six weeks of pregnancy.
