Sumter Co. deputies searching for 14-year-old last seen on Tuesday

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter County deputies are searching for a teen last seen on Tuesday, said the dept.

Deputies said Essence Morice was last seen leaving her home on Somerset Drive on Feb. 24, around 5:15 p.m.

Morice was last seen wearing a black sweater, plaid dark blue/light blue, and white pants.

Investigators also said her hair was under a bonnet.

Additionally, the sheriff’s office said the teen was picked up by a vehicle, and left in the direction of Camden.

Anyone who sees Morice is asked to call 911, or the Sumter Co. Sheriff’s Office at 803-436-2000.
