Kershaw Co. Coroner identifies teenager who died in multi-vehicle wreck

KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Kershaw County Coroner’s Office has identified a teenager who died in a multi-vehicle wreck on I-20 East Friday, Feb. 27.

According to investigators before 8 p.m. the victim who was identified as 19-year-old Chelsea Moran from Tennessee hit a tractor trailer from behind near mile marker 92.

The tractor trailer later overturned while Chelsea’s vehicle was later hit by another tractor trailer.

She died at the scene from her injuries.

This incident remains under investigation.
