Mother, son enjoying $30K win on ELF Scratch-off

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– A mother and son in Sumter are both happy after a winning ELF scratch-off added money to their lives, said SC lottery officials.

With the new money, the son is getting a car.

“When I get home from work, I’m tired. Now I can rest, it’s a relief,” the mother told South Carolina Education Lottery officials.”

She cashed in the last top prize on an ELF scratch-off bought at Lee Grocery on Lafayette Drive in Sumter.

Odds of winning $30,000 in the Lottery’s holiday ELF game are 1 in 720,000.
