SC’s new license plate

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– You may have noticed South Carolina’s new license plate design popping up on your daily commute.
But the plate’s motto “Where The Revolutionary War Was Won'” has drawn some sharp criticism, even prompting a Washington Post article titled,”South Carolina Says The Revolutionary War Was Won”.
However, Coastal Carolina University Professor Kevin Kokomoor disagrees and says the last battles of the Revolutionary War were all fought in the South, many in South Carolina.
