SC Democrats announces largest ever candidate field

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The Democratic Party will be well represented in this year’s election cycle.

Tuesday, March 31, 2026, the South Carolina Democratic Party announced its largest candidate field in modern history.

Party officials say there are Democratic candidates for all 124 State House seats, all 7 statewide constitutional offices, all 7 U.S. Congressional Districts, and the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Senator Lindsey Graham.

South Carolina’s primary elections take place June 9th.

The general election is November 3rd.
