SCHP seeking information in relation to fatal Kershaw County hit-and-run

KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolina Highway Patrol is asking for help with a fatal hit-and-run that happened in Kershaw County, says highway patrol.

Troopers say an unknown vehicle was traveling south on Wildwood Lane on Thursday, April 9, around 12:15 a.m.

The vehicle hit a moped causing fatal injuries before leaving Wildwood Lane near Palm Road.

SC troopers believe the vehicle was a 2015-2019 Cheverolet 2500 or 3500 pickup truck.

The color and trim of the truck is unknown at the moment.

Officials believe the vehicle will have damage to the front, and or passenger side.
