Trader Joe’s agrees to pay $7.4 million in class action lawsuit

(CNN)– Trader Joe’s could owe you money.

The grocery chain has agreed to a $7.4 million settlement over claims receipts showed too many digits from customers’ credit and debit cards.

If you made a purchase between March 2019 and July 2019 you may be eligible for a payout, even if you didn’t experience identity theft.

The company denies any wrongdoing, but says it settled to avoid a lengthy legal fight.

Customers have until June 6 to submit a claim.
