Man arrested in relation to fatal Kershaw hit-and-run

KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A man has been arrested for a fatal hit-and-run in Kershaw earlier this month.

42-year-old Wayne Flippin is charged with hit-and-run accident involving death.

According to investigators, on April 9, Flippin is accused of hitting a moped driven by 29-year-old Brandon Butler on Wildwood Lane, and then leaving the scene.

Butler died from his injuries.

Flippin is being held at the Kershaw County Detention Center.
