Fatal Moped Collision

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Lee County authorities are investigating a moped collision that happened just before 6 p.m. Saturday. According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the moped and a Jeep Cherokee were going in opposite directions on Woodham Road. Troopers said the person driving the Jeep, 19-year-old Justin Haluck, was not injured in the crash. The identity of the moped rider has not been released. The accident remains under investigation.
