Disagreement leads to Thursday evening shooting, Sumter Co. deputies say
SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter County deputies say a victim is recovering from a gunshot wound following a disagreement that ended in gunfire Thursday evening.

Deputies also say the suspect is in custody after the disagreement.
The incident happened on Amelia Drive Thursday evening, May 14, after receiving a report of a shooting incident.
Upon deputies arrival to the address the suspect who was identified as Robert Stachura was taken into custody and taken to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center.
One victim was wounded during the incident and taken by Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.
The victim’s condition has not been released.
Stachura was charged with two counts of attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle.
His bond was denied, according to SCSO.
