SC Department of Public Safety at CAE asking for help finding missing woman

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The Department of Public Safety at Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE) is asking for public help finding a missing person, say officials.

According to officials, 69-year-old Clarice M. Wiliams was last publicly seen at CAE on Tuesday, May 19, around 7:30 p.m. at the rental car garage.

Her family went to CAE to report her missing on Thursday, May 21.

The family is concerned because of her age and medical conditions.

Williams is a black female, around 5’9 in height, slim body type, with long red hair and wears glasses.

Law enforcement believe she is traveling in a white Nissan Sentra with Maryland plate 00837DR.

The car is rental from Enterprise.

The vehicle was last in the area of North Beltline and Millwood Ave in Columbia SC, according to authorities.

Airport Public Safety is leading the investigation and coordinating with the State Law Enforcement Division and Richland County Sheriff’s Department.

The public should contact Investigator Cooke at 803-822-5013 with Airport Public Safety or their local law enforcement for any information about where Williams might be.
