Suburu recalls 70K vehicles due to moonroof issue

(CNN)– Suburu is recalling nearly 70,000 vehicles due to issues with the moonroof.

According to the recall notice, the affected models are the 2026 Suburu Forester and the Forester hybrid.

The recall states the moonroof may not be installed properly due to a lack of primer.

That over time can lead to the glass becoming detached while the car is operating, and the issue could cause an injury or crash.

There have been at least three reports of the panel detaching but no reports of injuries or crashes.

If your vehicle is included in the recall notice, you will be notified by the end of July.
