Driver Killed in Head-On Collison

Gaston, S.C. (WOLO)–One person has died following a head on collision in Gaston. Troopers with the Highway Patrol say just before 9:00 Thursday night 52 year old James Binks was driving a 2001 Buick north in the south bound lane on Highway 321 near Woodcote Dr. Investigators say Binks hit another car head on causing the Buick to burst into flames. Binks died at the scene. The driver and the passenger of the other car were airlifted to Palmetto Health Richland.
