Orangeburg County investigators searching for person of interest in relation to fatal shooting

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Orangeburg County deputies are searching for a person of interest for information on a fatal shooting last week.

According to investigators, 23-year-old Wesley Dunbar was shot and killed at a party on Oliver Road in North on Sunday, June 21.

Deputies identified three persons of interest seen on home security video around the area at the time of the shooting.

Authorities say two have been cleared and they need to speak with the man on screen.

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Orangeburg County investigators need help identifying several persons of interest in connection with a Sunday fatal shooting, says Sheriff Leroy Ravenell.

Sheriff Ravenell says that a door security camera recorded a video that shows several males approaching a home.

“If you have the names of any one or all of these individuals, please call us,” the sheriff says. “We need to speak with them about this homicide case and hopefully bring closure for this family soon.”

The video and photos are connected to the early Sunday shooting in North that left one man dead, according to deputies.

Orangeburg County Sheriff’s investigators were called out just after midnight to an Oliver Street location where a 23-year-old male was found dead.
