Orangeburg Co. investigators need help identifying persons of interest in relation shooting

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Orangeburg County investigators need help identifying several persons of interest in connection with a Sunday fatal shooting, says Sheriff Leroy Ravenell.

Sheriff Ravenell says that a door security camera recorded a video that shows several males approaching a home.

“If you have the names of any one or all of these individuals, please call us,” the sheriff says. “We need to speak with them about this homicide case and hopefully bring closure for this family soon.”

The video and photos are connected to the early Sunday shooting in North that left one man dead, according to deputies.

Orangeburg County Sheriff’s investigators were called out just after midnight to an Oliver Street location where a 23-year-old male was found dead.

Anyone with information about the people can anonymously call the Orangeburg County Communications Center at 803-534-3550.
