Officials unveil Gus Manos Memorial Street

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The City of West Columbia now has a permanent reminder of one of its most impactful citizens.

Wednesday morning officials unveiled Gus Manos Memorial Street.

Manos was one of the owners of the famous Zesto’s location in West Columbia.

The designation honors the late Manos who was a beloved businessperson, mentor, and civic leader.

Those who spoke with ABC Columbia say it is a fitting honor.

Gus Manos Memorial Street is located on 12th street from Jarvis Klapman Bridge to Knox Abbott Drive.
