USC hosts global supply chain summit for industry

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Experts in global supply chain analytics and processes are meeting at the University of South Carolina to hone their craft.
The Darla Moore School of Business in Columbia is hosting the annual event. It begins Monday at 5:30 p.m. with a reception and dinner and continues Tuesday morning with client presentations.
Projects by students and faculty at the Global Supply Chain and Process Management Center are being highlighted.
Professors say the projects help companies save money and improve their businesses.
The event is open to the business community and general public, with a $30 registration fee that includes meals.
