Police search for vehicle-of-interest in hit-and-run

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – The Columbia Police Department is searching for a car believed to be involved in a hit-and-run over the weekend. Officers say a woman was hit in the crosswalk at the corner of Gervais and Harden Streets. She was taken to a local hospital. No word on her condition. After collecting several witness statements, officers say the vehicle-of-interest is a dark-colored convertible, possibly green. It should also have heavy damage to the front end and windshield.
