Sumter County deputies looking for man who left five children in burning car
SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Deputies in Sumter County say they are looking for a man who left five children in a burning car.
Investigators say deputies witnessed Kiondre Summers commit a traffic violation near Copely Drive.
When they attempted a traffic stop Lovely led deputies on a chase through the Cherryvale Community before crashing his car and running away leaving five children between the ages of one and seven behind.
Deputies say the car caught on fire after the crash.
All of the children were removed safely.
