Jermaine Johnson to hold ‘special Lt. Governor announcement’ this week

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) — It seems South Carolina could know who Democratic Candidate for Governor Jermaine Johnson’s pick for Lt. Governor will be later this week.
Johnson took to X Monday night letting voters know that he will have a “… special Lt. Governor announcement” this Thursday at the State House.
According to his post, the announcement is set for 11 that morning, and ABC Columbia will be there.
Johnson and his yet-to-be named running mate, will face Republican Gubernatorial Candidate Attorney General Alan Wilson and his running mate Senator Mike Reichenbach, in the general election Nov. 3.
