Danny Ford II to appear on special primary ballot

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)–Danny Ford II is officially on the ballot for next week’s republican special primary for senate.
Tuesday a Richland County judge ruled in favor of Ford whose candidacy was originally not certified by the state Republican party.

In a post on Facebook Ford writes in part, “This victory isn’t just about me. It’s about ensuring the people of South Carolina have the opportunity to choose who represents them.””Ford is one of 12 candidates seeking to replace the late senator Lindsey Graham on the ballot.
The primary will take place next Tuesday.
The winner will face Democratic Nominee Dr. Annie Andrews in November.
