1 charged in connection with 20-year-old Sumter man’s murder
SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter County Sheriff Anthony Dennis says a person has been identified and charged with the murder of a 20-year-old Sumter man.
On Saturday, August 8, Equante Syquell Bell, 22, of Sumter, was taken into custody and charged with the August 1 murder of Maurice Isaac.

Sheriff Dennis states he expects others to be charged as well as the investigation is continuing.
Sumter County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to seek the public’s help as the case remains open.
