Darline Graham takes another step closer to her late brother’s Senate seat by advancing to GOP runoff

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) — It appears Sen. Darline Graham will advance to the GOP special primary later this month.

Several media outlets, including the Associated Press, are reporting Graham will advance in the special primary to replace her brother, Sen. Lindsey Graham, who died last month.

As of  8:38 p.m., the South Carolina Election Commission’s unofficial results showed Graham had nearly 32.89%  of the vote, with Rep. Ralph Norman earning 23.66% and Rep. Russell Fry pulling in 21.32%.

A total of 10 candidates appeared on Tuesday’s ballot.
