Clowney Right At Home On Tonight Show

(WOLO) — Jadeveon Clowney started his first official day as a spokesman for Puma by sporting some of his new sponsor’s gear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Clowney wore a Puma jacket and $2500 snakeskin shoes the company gave him after becoming their only new spokesman in the 2014 NFL Draft class. Clowney, along with several other projected first rounders including Clemson’s Sammy Watkins, took time out from their New York City schedules to join Fallon for Wednesday night’s show. The first round of the NFL Draft airs on ESPN at 8 p.m. Clowney seemed to enjoy his first late-night TV appearance. When the studio audience gave him loud applause during his introduction Clowney joined in with a yell. Fallon quipped, “Jadeveon played for the South Carolina Gamecocks. When I saw him backstage in his dressing room I thought, ‘That’s one of the biggest Gamecocks I’ve ever seen.” Later in the show Clowney sat down with Fallon. The host asked, “Are you a millionaire?” Clowney answered, “Not yet. I’m still broke.” Clowney said he plans to buy him mom a house with his new NFL money. Clowney timed Fallon running the 40-yard dash. Clowney timed Fallon running it in 6.9 seconds. Clowney clocked a 4.53 at the NFL combine.
