Man arrested, charged with auto breaking after incident in Heathwood

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia Police say a man has been arrested and charged with auto breaking.

Leary Sweat is charged with one count of auto breaking following an incident in the Heathwood Community.

Based on evidence collected during the investigation and cooperation from witnesses, CPD officers identified Sweat as a suspect in connection with the incident, says the police dept.

The investigation remains ongoing.
