66-year-old facing multiple charges connected to the sexual exploitation of a minor

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson says a 66-year-old is facing multiple charges connected to the sexual exploitation of a minor.

Investigators state Timothy Lewis Anderson encouraged a person he believed to be a minor to produce child sexual abuse material, distributed child sexual abuse material, and sent sexually explicit images to a person he believed to be a minor.

Anderson was arrested on Friday, August 21, 2026.

He is being charged with one count of attempted sexual exploitation of a minor, first degree (§16-15-395); one count of sexual exploitation of a minor, second degree (§16-15-405); and one count of attempted dissemination of obscene material to a person under age eighteen (§16-15-345).
