COLUMBIA., S.C. (WOLO) – A local author is celebrating the release of his debut novel with a special book signing this Saturday!

Damon McLeod, author of the new fiction book titled “Through the Window Over the Bradford Pear” will hold several events on the following dates:

• Sat., Aug. 29 from 3 to 7 p.m. – Book signing at Savage Craft brewery at 430 Center St., West Columbia
• Sat., Sept. 12 from 11 to 4 p.m. – Book signing at Pressed Pages & Autumn Bookish Market at Enoree River Vineyards & Winery at 1650 Dusty Road, Newberry
• Thurs., Sept. 24 from 5 to 7 p.m. – Book talk and Q&A at Books on Broad, 944 Broad St., Camden
• Fri., Oct. 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. – Book talk and Q&A at All Good Books, 734 Harden St., Columbia
• Sat., Nov. 14 from 10 to 4 p.m. – Book signing at the Book Feast Book Expo at The Venue at Valley View Farm, 139 Dragstrip Rd., Aiken
