Driver killed in wreck on Garners Ferry Road Tuesday

RICHLAND CO., S.C. (WOLO) – Highway Patrol says a driver was killed in a wreck Tuesday night.

It happened on Garners Ferry Road at Louis Leconte Road at 6:33 p.m.

According to Master Trooper Brandon Bolt, a 2006 Chevrolet Van was travelling west, when the driver ran off the road, struck a ditch and overturned.

The driver died from their injuries.

The Richland County Coroner’s Office has not released the victim’s identity as of yet.

Highway Patrol is investigating.
