Lexington County coroner identifies woman killed in last month hit-and-run

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Lexington County coroner identified a woman killed in a hit-and-run accident last month.

Officials say 37-year-old Jayne Mbeng was walking on Frink Street when she was hit and killed.

Investigators say they do not have a description of the vehicle at this time but are reviewing surveillance footage from the time of the incident.
