USC student enrollment record rises

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– If the extra traffic around downtown Columbia wasn’t a big enough clue, USC students are back in town.

University officials say enrollment is approaching 42,000, and USC is now serving more students than any time in history.

The freshman class alone includes nearly 8000 new first year students.

Classes for this fall began on August 18.
