Woman charged with hit-and-run turns herself in

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– SCDPS says a Pelion woman has been charged in relation to a hit-and-run in August.

The hit-and-run took place last month, August 27 on SC Hwy 6 at the intersection with Daralynn Drive.

Misty Smith, 47, of Pelion, was charged with hit-and-run with great bodily injury, says the South Carolina Dept. of Public Safety.

Smith turned herself in last night, Weds, Sept. 2, at the Lexington County Detention Center.
