Dutch Fork Won’t Play in $60M Stadium

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — The Dutch Fork football team won’t get a chance to play at a $60 million football stadium in Dallas, TX, due to its closure. Allen High School, the largest high school in Texas, built a $60 million football stadium and hoped to use it for its home games in 2014. The Silver Foxes were scheduled to play Allen in the new stadium in September. The school was forced to close the huge stadium Tuesday after it was discovered that concrete in the structure has begun to crack. Dutch Fork will still travel to Texas to play Allen, but the game will be played in Plano. Sept. 5 — Dutch Fork (South Carolina) at Plano (Kimbrough)
