Woman arrested in Sumter for alleged drug trafficking

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A Sumter woman has been arrested on several charges including drug trafficking.

Deputies arrested Shannon McLeod on Tuesday, September 8, after investigators executed a search warrant at her home.

Investigators seized methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine and crack cocaine.

They also recovered pills and two loaded handguns.

McLeod was taken to the Sumter County Detention Center where she was denied bond.
