Tractor-trailer driver dead following wreck on I-95 north

CLARENDON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– SC Highway Patrol says a tractor-trailer driver is dead following a wreck on I-95 north in Clarendon County.

Troopers say it happened at mile marker 100 at 4:15 a.m Tuesday, Sept. 16.

According to investigators, the driver ran off the left side of the road, struck a guard rail, and came to a stop in the south bound lanes.

The driver died at the scene from their injuries.

The Clarendon County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the victim’s identity.
