Joy & Justice Tour coming to the Midlands

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Southern Black Girls and Women’s Consortium is bringing its nine-city southern tour to the Midlands on Saturday, September 26.

The Joy & Justice Tour will be a free family-friendly festival-style community event at the Earlewood Park Community Center (1113 Recreation Dr.).

Since launching in June, the nine-city, eight-state Joy & Justice Tour has created spaces where Black girls and women can connect, celebrate, access resources and experience joy.

Columbia is the tour’s eighth stop, according to a press release by the consortium.

Joy & Justice Tour Columbia begins at 11 a.m. but before the event there will be a Joy & Justice Walk with GirlTrek event at 8 a.m.
