South Carolina Veterans make way to capital to board honor flight

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Nearly 100 South Carolina Veterans made their way to the nation’s capital Wednesday morning (September 17).

They boarded an honor flight from the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport.

It marked the organization’s first trip dedicated to Vietnam Veterans, who made up the majority of those on the trip.

The group’s itinerary included visits to Arlington National Cemetery as well as the various memorials dedicated to Veterans.
