Ground cinnamon recalled in select states due to elevated levels of lead

(CNN)– There is a major cinnamon recall to let you know about.

Lior brand cinnamon ground seasoning is being pulled off of shelves over lead concerns.

That’s after Maryland’s Department ofHealth found that the product contained elevated levels of lead.

The cinnamon was sold at grocery stores, delis, and supermarkets in half a dozen states, including: New York, Texas, and Florida.

No illnesses have been reported to date.
