Man arrested in connection with voyeurism

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Sheriff Leon Lott announces the arrest of a man in connection with voyeurism, says RCSD.

On Friday, September 25, 2026, at around 8 a.m., deputies responded to the Food Lion on Decker Blvd.

Deputies spoke with a female victim who stated that a male suspect distributed a foreign substance that she believed to be a bodily fluid on her clothing while in the store.

A DNA sample was taken from the woman’s clothing, according to the sheriff’s dept.

Deputies circulated the area and found a suspect matching the description given by the victim.

The suspect was identified as Travis Henson.

Henson stated he placed a foreign substance on the woman’s clothing as part of a fetish but denied the substance being a bodily fluid.

He was charged by Richland Co. Sheriff’s Dept., investigators with assault and battery 3rd degree and voyeurism.

Also, he was taken to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center where he is awaiting a bond hearing.

Investigators believe that there are more victims of similar accounts with Henson.

RCSD encourages any additional victims to come forward and report such encounters to further investigate.
