SC Election Commission reminds residents of voting registration deadline
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The South Carolina State Election Commission (SEC) is reminding eligible residents to register to vote or make sure their information is up to date by Sunday, October 4.
The upcoming election season takes place on Tuesday, November 3.
The early voting period will begin on Monday, October 19 through Saturday, October 31, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., (closed on Sundays) at designated county early voting centers.
On the ballot will be the governor’s seat, State House seats, local school boards, and more.
How To Register?
- Register online at scVOTES.gov (must be received by Sunday, October 4).
- Download a voter registration form from scVOTES.gov. Complete and return the form to your county voter registration office:
- By fax or email attachment (must be received by Sunday, October 4).
- By mail (must be postmarked by Monday, October 5).
- Register in person at your county voter registration office (most offices will close at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2 for in-office registrations).
