Christina Hope Anderson, 52, is charged with distribution of meth, second offense, according to an arrest warrant.

Anthony Ray Miles, 54, is charged with possession of a firearm or ammunition by a person convicted of certain crimes, first offense, also according to an arrest warrant.

Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon says the sheriff’s department received some calls and complaints about gunfire in a residential area at a home in the 500 block of Charity Lane in West Columbia.

“After confirming Miles had been in prison, we went to the home and talked with Anderson and Miles,” states Sheriff Koon.

According to Sheriff Koon, Miles admitted firing some shots a few days prior.

“Miles told us he was prohibited from possessing a firearm due to a criminal conviction,” Koon says. “That prompted us to get a search warrant for the home Miles shares with Anderson.”

Deputies found meth and ammunition during their search of the home, say officials.

Also, deputies arrested Anderson and Miles at the scene and took them to the Lexington County Detention Center.

They have since been released after meeting the conditions of their bond set by a magistrate judge.
